We are shouting out praise to the Lord! 4Ekselans, a ministry dedicated to training and equipping leaders, present and future, has been a beacon of hope and inspiration in Jacmel, Haiti for the past 17 years.
When I left Haiti in September 2020, 4Ekselans moved to another facility. We were blessed with sufficient room for an office, a library, and a meeting room that could seat 60. When the annual rent became due this year, the landlord refused to accept it. He wanted us out. With the high demand for rentals due to people fleeing the capital from gang violence, he could easily raise the rent for new tenants.
We had recently painted both the interior and exterior. The team improved the property by investing $300 from their personal funds, which the landlord promised to repay. He reneged on the agreements and notified us to vacate the premises. Although he did not repay the loan, he agreed to give us several months rent-free once we took legal action.
Our team, along with the unwavering support of our community, spent those months searching for an affordable place to meet our needs. We prayed a lot! God heard our prayers! He has provided a new home for us - better than we'd had for the past 4 ½ years. Praise the Lord!
This week, with the support of faithful donors, the team moved to the new facility. This more spacious one accommodates 150 people and has parking for 20 vehicles. It will serve as a hub for our ministry's activities, including the School of Ministry and the Leadership Institute. Eventually, the leadership clubs for youth will also meet there. Not wanting to move them out of their neighborhood, the ones in session this school year are meeting in a nearby private school. We are so grateful for this new home and your unwavering support during this transition!
Although we paid the annual rent, we still need to raise $500 for the maintenance fee. Please ask the Lord if He wants you to help with this need. If so, you can give at https://www.4ekselans.org/give.

This inauguration marks a significant milestone in our mission to train spiritual and community leaders. We are pleased to welcome religious leaders, distinguished guests, and community members who share our vision for a dynamic and committed ministry.
The program will include inspiring speeches, moments of worship and prayer, and a tour of the new premises. Your presence and participation will be a valuable contribution to this event, helping us to connect and strengthen our bonds within the community.
